LECTURE

In this class, Mr. Fauzi introduced us to the concept poster design.

Poster is a traditional medium to convey information to the target audience. It can be messy or straightforward. Posters can create awareness of problems or convey information.

Four key functions for creating creative posters:

1. Title

2. Pictures (Photos)

3. Text

4. Blank

Layout, process and color affect the order and style of these four key functions.

For this poster project, we recommend using a graphic centric layout.

Coached

In the tutorial section, we watched a step-by-step tutorial video on how to edit in Adobe Photoshop.

We are learning how to use the quick selection tool, adjust the matching color, and how to add filters and shadows.

Practical

This week, we are asked to do a digital imaging exercise. After the exercise, we will learn how to use these editing tools, such as quick selection tool, layer mask, filter and color correction.
