  Digital Photography and Imaging - Week 5 LECTURE In this class, Mr. Fauzi introduced us to the concept poster design. Poster is a traditional medium to convey information to the target audience. It can be messy or straightforward. Posters can create awareness of problems or convey information. Four key functions for creating creative posters: 1. Title 2. Pictures (Photos) 3. Text 4. Blank Layout, process and color affect the order and style of these four key functions. For this poster project, we recommend using a graphic centric layout. Coached In the tutorial section, we watched a step-by-step tutorial video on how to edit in Adobe Photoshop. We are learning how to use the quick selection tool, adjust the matching color, and how to add filters and shadows. Practical This week, we are asked to do a digital imaging exercise. After the exercise, we will learn how to use these editing tools, such as quick selection tool, layer mask, filter and color correction.

  Digital Photography & Imagining / Practical Week 4 13.09.2021 / Week 4 Huai Yi / 0351702 Digital Photography & Imagining / Bachelor of Design in Creative Media  LECTURE In this class, we were able to learn more about editing in Adobe Photoshop. We were focus on the Adjustment Layer and filters in this week. The Adjustment Layering Photoshop are a group of useful and non-destructive image editing tools which can add colour and tonal adjustments to the image without permanently changing its pixels.  Which are: 1. Bright ness  / Contrast 2. Level 3. Curves 4. Exposure  5. Selective Colour TUTORIAL PRACTICAL This week, we were asked to use the final digital collage suggested by Mr. Fauzi and make adjustments using the tools we learned. We must select one to submit as a weekly assignment.

There are several points to emphasize in the basic composition: focus (key elements), scale and level (attention / distance), balance elements (weight) and white spacing (blank). Here are some tips you must consider in your composition: 1. Rule 3 The process of dividing an image into one-third with two horizontal lines and two vertical lines. This rule creates a more natural image when we place elements at their internal intersections. -To please our eyes and the natural landscape -Creative use of negative space -Create a link between the theme and the background.
