LECTURE
In this topic, the lecturer introduces us to composition and its skills. There are several points to emphasize in the basic composition: focus (key elements), scale and level (attention / distance), balance elements (weight) and white spacing (blank). Here are some tips you must consider in your composition:
1. Rule 3
The process of dividing an image into one-third with two horizontal lines and two vertical lines. This rule creates a more natural image when we place elements at their internal intersections.
-To please our eyes and the natural landscape
-Creative use of negative space
-Create a link between the theme and the background.
For example, POV, etc.
2. Gold ratio
This technology produces a good sense of harmony and proportion, making its aesthetic effect consistent with the human eye. Provide a sense of art. This design is often used to determine dimensions in layout and movement.
3. Composition (frame and clipping)
a. Focus - the key element of any good work. Help your audience's eyes naturally identify important parts of your design.
b. Scale and hierarchy - scales are often used to help convey hierarchies by attracting attention to and moving away from certain elements, thus indicating their importance to communication.
c. Balance - a good way to master asymmetric balance is to treat each element as having "weight" (for example, smaller objects weigh less than larger objects)
d. Blank - called "blank" to balance the main focus of the composition. By balancing the more complex and busy parts of the composition and the space that helps the design breathe, it helps to improve the clarity and overall appearance of the design.
One third rule
It uses two horizontal lines and two vertical lines to divide the image into one third. This hypothetical grid produces nine parts and four intersections.
TUTORIAL
, Mr. Fauzi provided us with a video tutorial on creating solid collages.
PRACTICAL
explain:
1. Select and determine your collage design elements and cut them into your own concepts and stories.
2. Pre assemble the design elements of the collage into a composition.
3. Take 3 photos of your collage pre composition and insert them into the section below
| Figure 1, work 1, week 2 |
I collected these photos. Then I cut and arrange them again. I want to create a beautiful collage by using painting as a field. Flowers and birds are the key factor in building emotions. I'm happy to arrange these elements.
